NRL
rugby league mobile apps
Consulting for the in-house digital team at NRL, we developed and relaunched cross-platform mobile applications for all 18 NRL club teams. This was no small undertaking, the applications being feature rich and posing many UI challenges including team statistics, league tables, video streaming and live data polling.
Other challenges included keeping the performance fast and the applications stable with the potential of 100’s of thousands of users accessing either of the team apps.
Push notification and cloud updates where also a new key feature in the application.
