Working for piiq to help bring innovation into the salon industry to enhance both the customer and client experience. The heart of the piiq experience is the piiq smart mirror. Developed specifically for the salon environment, controlled by a custom piiq tablet, the piiq smart mirror put’s the power of the why in the salon professional’s hands, and supports the client experience with heads up display, push notifications, and organic prompts.
Alongside the smart mirror there was a client facing mobile app, built for cross-platform, enabling users to scan the mirror (QR code) and then instantly begin the salon experience.
An admin portal built to manage the salon staff, products and clientele was also a crustal part of the product solution.
The business model operating on a software subscription service, and so a custom payment process was developed utilising Stripe to handle the payment flow
